DJ 41 Rhodium Dial

The vintage guy that I am, I could not resist to get myself this amazing watch. The blue dial also looked nice at the AD, but for me the Rhodium is a stunning dial. I really had to get used to the shine. It made me uncomfortable and somewhat embarrassed to have this attention on my wrist. I even thought to exchange it for a smooth bezel but after a few days, I really get to enjoy it in the open :) Blue is also nice, but rhodium is an upscale elegance, it blends in with the color/look of the steel and flows like one integrated jewelry. I think this bezel + bracelet combination is native to DJ. I have never owned a jubilee bracelet and I must say it is really comfy to wear. The watch is light and with this bracelet, I really don't notice its presence, unless I get blinded by its shines occasionally.

The steel of this watch is a different kind of steel all together - amazing spark to it. These Rolex alchemists have created something really special, the look and spark of the steel on this watch is noticeably different.

Congrats on your new 41. The rhodium is such a nice shade of grey, just dark enough to make the indices pop as well as the bezel and bracelet. It all works together so well. Enjoy that Beauty!!...

DJ, fluted in jubilee, wow!
The dial color gives it that "understated" elegance.

It's just all about health, happiness & family. The rest are just necessary inconvenience we have to deal with.

I’m actually starting to like this color dial better than the blue it’s gorgeous. And yes! Fluted is the only way to go.

Thank you all for your words. It is very uplifting to have this watch on the wrist and to look at it. The way the dial blends with the steel is mesmerising.

I agree with you. That dial is stunning. I truly do think I like it better than blue. Great choice. Also no one is looking at your wrist except for other watch guys so no worries.
