Too much polish? 5513

Too much polish here? I'm still learning about how to look at these things. Very little patina for the age.

How do you tell if the hands are original? Do the hands from the late 70s/early 80s look different than service hands or the early 90s?

Can't really tell about the hands from those photos, but as you probably know, the insert is not original. Often luminova hands have a distinctively different color and texture than tritium hands, but better photos would be needed to determine that. UV excitation makes it obvious.

If hands are luminova they will glow when held under the sun...
