1966 Explorer factory bracelet would have been?

Finally decided to get an original stainless bracelet for the 1016 Explorer. I think it should be numbered either 7206 or 7836? Are one of these correct? Also, what endlinks would have been on it in 1966? Thank you for your time.

The 78360 wasn't introduced until late 70's.

OP it would be either 7206 or USA C+I rivet. But it would definitely be a rivet bracelet. 7206 endlinks would be either 58 or 80, I'm not sure which. USA C+I has it's own endlinks.

@levallois
7206 (58 ends), C&I rivet, 6636 (58 ends) would all work for your particular Explorer. Also, a 1966 Ref. 1016 could also have been installed with a 7836 (280 ends).

I was under the impression 7836 came about 1967 and after?

1967 would use 7206 rivets - 7836s weren't around yet.

Got it!

Pulled the trigger on a 7206 with 58 ends. Stamped 2 over 66 which matches the year of my Explorer. Cost almost as much as I paid for the watch 9 years ago but worth it. Yes, I know, the springbars are terrible but trying to find the correct ones has proven more difficult than I thought.
