Rolex gmt

So a local jeweler in my town has a gmt from 1973 has service dial service hands service bezel asking like 15k is

Too old to me and have no interest in it.
If it was worn by a family member or something it would have some value but definitely not a stranger’s 50 year old watch.

The value in older watches is in originality.

A changed dial, insert, and hands doesn't leave much there to ask top-dollar for. It's probably a very nice watch but priced too high.

Old GMTs with all original parts are quite rare. I'm seeing less and less of them each year. But ones with service parts? Very common, yes.
