5711 or 5726?

Hypothetically if I ever get the chance for either one of these it may be a tough choice. I do not have a day date or moon phase in my collection so and thinking grab a 5726 if I only get a single opportunity. I have not seen either in person. Thoughts ? Am I leaving out a model ?

5726 for me is a perfect Nautilus, the right balance of size, price and complication.

Getting one however is another story....

I personally love 5726 by far. Because it is more complicated, day date month and moonphase complication. Also, the dial is nicer. Take it before discontinue, while 5711 i believe it will never discontinue.

You should be able to get both pieces if your AD likes you enough to give you either, ie, you must have a significant spending by now. It will only be a matter of time and patience is all you need

In pictures I’d choose 5726 but in metal 5711. Not even close. If at all possible try both on before selecting. 5726 was a big let down for me.

I’ll have to see some In person. They will all look great. The 5711 to me is a bit plain. I don’t chase popularity

The new blue dial 5726 is stunning. I will only choose blue dial 5726 over 5711a, not previous 5726.

Quite right, always buy what you prefer. Personally I’m always mystified when threads like this are started.

yes. When I had both 5711 and 5712, I was always wearing 5712. The dial of 5712 is more interesting for me.

5726 for sure, especially if it’s the blue dial

It depends on what you got... Only one I'd creep towards the 5711... But if you got others like the 5712... Definitely the 5726... The new blue is amazing.

5711 would be my choice.

No, 5726 it’s an annual calendar with moon phase
5990 it’s a GMT with chrono...

I think your suggestion it’s wrong....

We will agree to disagree. I would put the CH 28-520 Dual Time Flyback Chrono movement in the 5990 ahead of the 324 annual calendar in the 5726.

Why do we need complications on a nautilus?

To paraphrase you - LOL

Perhaps so the guys that like collecting Nautilus can build a collection of blue dial pieces - I'm in.
