Rolex Submariner C no date on 6.5 wrist?

I’m about to give up on the wait for a BLRO and Daytona, my fallback is the New supercase submariner C.

Can anyone comment or share pics of this watch on a 6.5 inch wrist?

It didn't feel right to me. I liked the five digit watch better. I had both at the same time. Both are shown below on my 6.5 inch wrist.

Personally, I feel the 5 digit looks better.

The 5 digit doesn’t have the solid bracelet though does it?

It fits and looks great, imo. Have you tried it on? Will wear very similarly to a pepsi. Here is a picture on my 6.7" (17cm) wrist.

I think wrist diameter is more important than circumference when considering whether a watch won’t look right on your wrist. The 114060 is 1.83 inches or 46.6mm lug to lug. What’s your wrist diameter?

Sub C all the way. The bracelet improvement is the best in the Rolex line up. It’s impossible not to get a perfect fit. I think it will look fine on your wrist. But the issue is how you think it looks. Try one on before you buy.

As others have said, it's personal preference. I think you'll be fine. But yes a 5 digit would be better, if you're ok with some tradoffs. I have a 5 digit and yes the bracelet is the older style. Works fine though.

By the way, I know you said fallback, but it's an awesome watch. Not a bad "fallback" if you ask me.

Have fun!

Nice pic. The more I see pictures of this, the more I'm starting to want one. (That's going to be a problem for my wallet.)

In real life, SubC looks smaller than what the pictures might suggest. You have to try on your wrist.

Thanks. I'm obviously biased, but for me it's the most amazing iteration of one of the all time best watches. Can't go wrong with any sub.

OP - I think I can help you.

Sorry no glamour shots. Just getting the job done.

I have a 6.5 inch skinny and bony wrist. On the left side of the picture is a 40mm Sub (Hulk is same case as the ceramic no date you are looking at. Ignore the right side of the photo which is a 37mm AP which recently went to a new home.)

Down the arm shot with the Hulk.

PM me if you want more shots, different angles.

Nope; 47.6mm lug-to-lug.

It'll fit fine. It's a dive watch -- it's not supposed to be delicate. On your wrist, it's still going to look much smaller than an SD43 or DSSD on many people.

My concern with the sub on my 6.75" wrist is that the clasp takes up a lot of the bracelet, and you'll probably have a link fewer than I would. It should still be comfortable, but it starts to feel like it's all clasp.

I have a 6.25 wrist and it’s fine (rubber b might make it look smaller as well)

I think it really depends on the width of your wrist more so than the circumference.
Flatter wrists tend to be able to pull off bigger watches.
I have round 6.75 inch wrists and was not able to pull off the bulkiness of the SubC supercase, yet I have seen others here with flatter but similar size wrists to me and it looks good on them.

My 16610 for comparison

Also, fyi you will find the BLRO wears more like a 5 digit, and great for smaller wrists because the end links don't protrude on the jubilee and rather hug your wrist.

It’s big but still love it. Had a 5513 and didn’t like the bracelet. Also had to remove permanent link on the 5513 so the watch didn’t roll around on my wrist

You'll be fine - the only real difference between the Sub and the GMT is the deeper caseback of the Sub, which means it sits a tad bit higher on the wrist. It's really a very modest diver/sports watch by modern standards, and let's not forget that the current Sub has been around since 2008. Plenty of ladies wear them, so all of this angsting over wrist size, etc is a bit silly imo unless you have extraordinarly thin wrists.
Perhaps try to find a TT or full PM version to try on - they will be heavier, but the overall shape will be the same.
