Which Ridley to use?

For a vintage watch service, is Father Ridley or son Ridley preferred from your experiences?

I am sure that either one could do an excellent job. Why don't you toss a coin and give one of them a call to see what fits in your schedule.

I haven't worked with Bob (father), but I sent Phillip my 16570 which someone else messed up and it came back from Phillip in perfect condition. I suspect you can't go wrong either way.

I've had Phillip work on a couple issues for me and I was very satisfied.

I've worked with Bob and your watch could not be in better hands. Having said that, Phillip's pictures, talent, and approach to his craft seem identical to Bob's.

Being the same as to quality of work, perhaps choose the one with shorter backlog.
