FS: 1965 Rolex Submariner 5512 Gilt Dial

Description: Case: Excellent case that has just returned from polishing. The fat font bezel is also in excellent condition and is fading to a dark blue hue. Dial: Excellent glossy black gilt dial with a unique widely spaced spider cracking patina pattern only visible at certain angles. The lume has aged to a warm creamy hue and the hands are matching. All lume glows brightly when exposed to UV and falls off rapidly at the same rate which is correct for the time period. Bracelet: The 12 link Swiss rivet bracelet is excellent and shows light stretch. The clasp is stamped with a matching 1967 date code. Accessories: None. Notes: The fat bezel, interesting deep patina, and bright glossy text give this watch a unique eye-catching quality.
