Dallas RSC
Hi Folks, just wanted to update everyone. I spoke with Dallas RSC, they are taking about 20 days or so to input watches into the systems and then you are looking at 12+ weeks for any repairs after approval.

Wow! Sign of the times. I sent my watch to the Dallas RSC just after they re-open on 5/5, delivered 5/8, received service estimate 5/18 and approved service estimate 5/19. At that time, they anticipated the work to be completed in approximately 8 weeks. They shipped back to me 7/15 and received it 7/16, so just over 9 weeks door-to-door.

They got my watch 7/6, put it in the system this past Friday (18 days) and told me 6 weeks. we'll see how that turns out.

I think service of my Milgauss took six weeks. But, I dropped it off in person.

Guess it depends on where you end up in the inprocessing queue, I live in Dallas so walked mine in on 1 July and they said it would take six weeks, although the service agent verbally stated that it was closer to eight weeks for pick up.

Two weeks ago, I received an eight week estimate from the time of the estimated cost. This was two weeks ago.

I got one in under the wire at the end of February and got it back in late April. They were extraordinarily responsive and professional

Good thing the new ones have 5 year warranty.
With a 2 year warranty, you would lose 10% of your coverage with that kind of turnaround. |

It was a tough wait, but well worth it. My beat up SubC came back looking brand new and keeping excellent time.

My experience with Dallas RSC:
07/29 - watch delivered to Dallas RSC 08/06 - Dallas RSC sends acknowledgement of receipt of watch 08/10 - Dallas RSC sends service estimate which states approx. 8 weeks on turn-around from time service is authorized 08/10 - service authorized I'll update when the service is completed and Dallas RSC returns the watch. |

Why 8 week turn around?
I have an indie I use who has a 2 week turn around. And that included FedEx shipping. Only uses Rolex parts and tools. Rolex let him keep his Service account. He is in Texas like the Dallas RSC. So for me I just ship to Austin versus Dallas. |

Dropped my DJ41 off on 7/17 at the local AD in Dallas. Original quote of 6-8 weeks. When I called back a few weeks ago, he said it would be another 6-8 weeks.
Called today to check on the status of a couple of orders and status of my repair. He said there was an entry today saying ETA of 3 more weeks. |

Dallas RSC has been quicker to quote than I originally thought. Sent my datejust via USPS 9/4, they acknowledged receipt on 9/10, then they sent in the estimate and work authorization on 9/14 which was pretty quick. Hopefully the service will only take 6 weeks. They quoted my 8-10 over the phone.

I was actually headed to Dallas for work and dropped by Dallas RSC to pick up. Made an appointment - super easy in-and-out. |
