Told my AD I had no interest in a Hulk...
I was trying on the Seiko SPB153(green Willard) at my AD and he asked me if I had much in the way of green watches. I mentioned that I had a Hamilton green dial sports on a green NATO but that was it. I then casually mentioned that while the Hulk is stunning, I really didn't like it that much. I told him I didn't see the big deal in it.
I did buy that Seiko..... |

Err, was he offering you one?
If not I guess he probably wasn't that shocked, loads of people don't like it and the vast majority of people that walk into a Rolex dealer don't want one to own. The key is more people do want one than there are available. |

Loved the Willard. I turned down a hulk years ago also.

Oops, forgot the second half of my post.....
Yes, he was offering, I just didn't know it yet. Fortunately he didn't listen to me. After I said I'll take the Willard he brought the Hulk out and once I saw it, I just couldn't say no. There really is something special about it. |

Green is my favorite color. I have tried green shades of just about anything but it all usually looks terrible on my (shirts, watches, etc). My wife also always tells me every time I try anything green on, she just gives me the “that looks disgusting” look lol. I got to try one on once (belonged to someone else, wasn’t for sale) and she fell in love with it too. That green is absolutely stunning and I can’t wait to eventually get one (I’ll go gray if I have to, but I really do love that more than any of the others available). In low light, i think it’s one of the best Rolex makes. When the light hits it, it’s a bit cartoonish. It reflects a lot of light and it’s very bright.

Your watch’s look so tight on your wrist and Despite my watch fitting just a tad bit on the loose side, you made mine feel uncomfortable and I had to take it off. Nice watches though

I prefer the Kermit to the Hulk... but they both look good.

Those are a couple of fine looking timepieces. I don't own a green dial but would consider it. I'd love to see one in the flesh but most who love it say it's stunning!
Wear em in great health! |

Congratulations! The Hulk is an awesome watch I love the way the dial changes color in different light conditions.

Don't worry too much about the green , in most natural light it looks a lot darker anyway.
It really comes to life on a summers day |

I would never buy the Hulk, mainly because I don't care for the green bezel.
However, that dial is a stunner and taken together the green bezel and dial work well. It's just not my style. As Subs go, I think that the 14060M is the zenith of Submariner style.
