Daytona 116500LN 2017

Hey guys,

Long time lurker, but just registered today.

I've unfortunately had burglary in my house last week. Luckily I had my watch on my wrist but the thief stole my Rolex Daytona 116500LN box/papers from 2017.

I have been trying to search the web for a reference box number so I could replace it, but haven't had any luck. The store where I bought the watch told me they don't use specific boxes for watches, but just takes what is available. But I found a webpage stating otherwise.

It was the smaller box - does anyone know what reference number Rolex uses for that specific watch?

Thx in advance

Sorry to hear of your burglary but in the real world the box you had from the AD was whatever he had on his shelves at point of sale. All SS watches at one time came in small boxes, now medium size boxes. Watches like the DSSD normally came in larger boxes but this was not always the case. And there is no real reference number as boxes were made in several parts of the world, so in one country the box number could be different to a other country.

Ahh... Alright. I guess my dealer was right then. I'll probably try to source a small one from EBAY instead of a medium - just for the memories and all.

Thx for the help, appreciate it!

My first watch was the Milgauss and it came in a small box, then my GMT came in a bigger box, then my Deep Sea came in a even bigger box that’s when I found out the professional watches come in three different boxes. My Daytona came in a Medium box, if I was you I would search for a Medium one, Im sure that when you see it it will be the same size as what you had. I was told that some of the high end precious metal watches come in much bigger boxes. I dont have one so I dont know for sure.
Sorry about the break in.

Thanks for the input. To be honest I've never had other Rolex watches/boxes, so I don't have anything to compare with - only the pictures online.

Sorry to hear about the burglary. That’s awful.

After being a victim myself, I installed a safe in the house, keep watches and boxes in the safe, but all paperwork inc warranty cards in a folder, separately, and in a different part of the house.
