Stainless Steel cleaners

Like everyone, we have a bunch of cleaning products including 2 stainless steel cleaners. One is a wipe, the other is a thicker liquid something. Will these work on my Sub?

Best to avoid all the snake oil salesmen and depending where you are then warm water with " Dawn " or in the UK " Fairy Liquid "
And a microfibre cloth good enough for my cutlery it's good enough for my wrist.

Hot water and dishwashing soap all you need for a regular clean up.

Bracelets I clean with an ultrasonic occasionally because you can’t reach where the grime does the most damage with a brush

i wouldn’t use those on your watch. They usually have polishes in them and leave some sorta coating. You could use plain soap and water, or windex. If you want the best looking clean, then get yourself some wristclean. It makes your watch noticeably cleaner than just plain old soap and water.

These Are. All. You. Need.
And how to clean is in the owner manual. Cleaning is not a specialty process. Some folks make it a religious experience.

Soap and water is all you really need. Clean micro-fibre cloth.

I heard good things about Wrist Clean as well but I haven't tried it.

This. If you're talking about the cleaners like the type you use on your refrigerator, it leaves a greasy film. Dish soap and a soft toothbrush are all you need.

What ever I’m wearing that day gets worn while I shower. Rinsed, lathered, dried, put on night stand. Never used a brush or anything fancy in my life for cleaning.

Been working quite well for a looooooong time.

This.

I recently had someone approach me at the gym, as I was getting in the shower. He said, 'you forgot to take your watch off.' I just said thanks and waited for him to leave, then took a shower as usual.

I've used all sorts - Fairy/dish washing liquid, soap, shampoo, shampoo with conditioner included, shower gel, foam burst shower gel, and more. My findings are - they all work.

keep it clean.

My watch gets cleaned with whatever cleaning solution is available for hand washing. I usually always lather up to at least half way to my elbow.

When I’m the shower I hit it with the fingernail brush after I’ve cleaned my fingernails with whatever bath wash is dedicated to me at the time.

It’s a metal watch for crying out loud.

Agree 100%. The soft brushes they sell are great and won’t scratch PCL.

Most know my watches look sparkly clean all the time ….
My secret is daily cleaning with diluted Dawn dish soap and water with my fingers. I clean my watch when I clean my eyeglasses at night. Takes maybe 20 seconds. Keeping oil and grit off your watches greatly reduces, micro scratching.

I bought a used Rolex once that was so dirty that I knew that the only way I'd be cleaning it myself would be wearing a hazmat suit, so I took it in from a full service.

Stainless Steel cleaners

Use distilled water to clean. Do not use tap water from the sink. Also buy yourself a portable air blower to dry it. No need to create micro scratches from towel.
