Blro vs New Kermit
I am looking to buy one of these watches, I will probably go the gray market route because I am not playing the AD games.

From those 2 would probably choose BLRO; what else you have?

Both are great.
Before adding the Cermit, I never would have thought this even would be close, with the BLRO being one of the best modern SS Rolex available. However, the Cermit case is just fantastic, and the proportions of the watch are perfect. The clasp is big, arguably the only negative I’ve heard from people who don’t own the watch. In reality, on the wrist, the clasp is absolutely fine. It isn’t too big, and it’s comfortable. You can’t go wrong with either.

BLRO. I went grey and have no regrets. A watch that I enjoy very much! The jubilee feels and looks so good. The Kermit is amazing but it’s second imho!

Both of them are great watches, can't go wrong with either one.
Try at the boutique/AD, you might get lucky like me. I got all my timepieces from the boutique/AD.

I'd probably lean towards the BLRO, and you are indeed very wise to get it from the secondary market rather than wasting years and years (and $ and $) "trying" to get one from an AD

BLRO is number one. Such an iconic and stunning piece. Kermit isn’t bad either. I love both. Have the Pepsi and won’t ever sell. Kermit is next on my list.

What if the Coke (Ironman) is coming up in future?
Will you love to drink Pepsi still? |

I’d go with the new Kermit, but only because I’m not a fan of the jubilee bracelet. Complication wise, BLRO wins

If you prefer a slightly smaller watch, GMT feature, blue and red then it's an easy choice! If you want the coolest one then just post some pics of it and see which gets more likes in the circles of which you respect. Both are new movement and nice.

Which one do you prefer?
If you can't choose between them either buy both or get the one with the lowest acquisition cost. I would go for a GMT before getting a diver. If I wanted a Submariner Date LV I would be looking at the 11 series. You should please yourself. What anyone else would do should be of no interest to you, although I'm sure we'd like to see the result. |

blro has the rolex tradition that Kermit can't match. the bezel is more difficult to make and looks better in my view.

I’m on AR list for a Kermit II supposedly by this year’s end. Crossing fingers. That’s my choice. But if I had a choice, the Kermit would still be it. I don’t think the jubilee goes well with a sports model. I have the jubilee on a white dial/roman numeral fluted bezel Datejust and looks fantastic.

A question not necessarily related to one or the other. Would the Batman or the Kermit go well as dress watches? I can see the Sub matching a tuxedo or suit but would either of the other two fit a special occasion?

About tradition, the Kermit was the watch featured for Rolex’s 50th year anniversary in 2003.
