Zenith Movement Daytonas

I know that the SS Daytona’s with the Zenith Movement command a substantial premium. I have been looking for a YG Daytona with a croc leather strap, and have noticed that the Ref 16518 model with the Zenith movement do not seem to command the same premium. Why is that?

Just because they are trading over MSRP doesn't mean their trading at the same percentage over MSRP as SS models.....c'mon man!

The 16528 full gold Zenith Daytona is being hyped as a collectible. I would add that may make the 16518 YG on strap the value proposition. The issue I see with these watches is that the watch had I believe 8 dial variants. Perhaps the first three variants are dials with the inverted six are the most desirable and collectible. In recent times, the halo has now covered all the zeniths since buyers are rushing to get a Zenith.

For sure not at the same percentage as SS. But still, Oysterflex daytonas and other pm daytonas are trading over list. That’s my point

Agree with Rado

16528 represent great value ...black dials are quite gorgeous....biased?..yes very

16518 has lagged behind ...but really shouldn’t, a Daytona on leather with the fixed end links and beautiful clasp is a lovely watch to wear...and no PCL’s to scuff..

I get the stainless it will always lead the way but PM Zeniths feel special...and are catching up quickly...
