Viceroy ?
Hello and this is my first post. Thank you for acceptance into this forum.
I have been offered a Rolex Viceroy and I have a few questions that I was unable to answer through a web search. What is a Viceroy and where does it sit in the history of Rolex ? Is this watch authentic, or from mixed parts ? Thank you. |

Incorrectly repainted dial
Generic Swiss mechanism with fake ROLEX engraving Possibly genuine Tudor gold plated and steel snap-back case But anyway, it is a lash-up and should be avoided. |

The Viceroy was a Canadian/Commonwealth watch produced in the 1940s and (possibly) early 1950s. Going by memory, I believe they were 30 mm size (correction welcome).
They don’t look anything like either of these two. Hard pass. |
