Icon7 Possible fake

Hi everyone. New member and am glad I joined the forum. I have learned so much in the past few months. Thanks to all who are so generous with your information.
I peruse many Rolex websites and came across a site that looks legit, but I noticed one of their listings that I was going to ignore but it started to bother me more and more, especially because you all have helped me so much.
So here it is. On the website Tropical Watch I saw, and is still there, a listing for a 2008 NOS Rolex SEA-Dweller 16600 with Box and Papers for $13,550.00. Now that is a good price... So upon further inspection, cause of you guys, I studied the watch closely. I used a listing from Collectors Coins and Jewelry that currently have an exact Ref. # 16600 and the same year, 2008 and the same M serial letter. So the Rolexes are the exact same model. A coincidence.
Upon inspecting the Rolex dial I am pretty much convinced that the dial on the Tropical Watch website is fake. When you compare both dials including the Rolex Crown lazar symbol they don't match up. Compare the spacing and the font. Their wrong.
I don't want to start a problem but I would like if one of you smart guys would please go to the websites mentioned and verify this. I DON'T WANT SOMEBODY GETTING TAKEN.
I'm sorry I can't put both watches up for you guys to see to make it easy.

Thank You

Anybody can post images by attaching them. All they need to do is meet the size requirements.

I doubt you will find a fake dial on Tropical watch..... It does say its a luminova dial ie, just a dial variation.

My advise is if you have doubts about it, sometimes follow your instincts. There are other watches put there, follow your instincts if you feel is fine then go for it, but if in doubt ill suggest you move on. My honest opinion.

Tropical Watch is the storefront of Jacek - well known SF/Bay Area seller- incredibly highly unlikely he'd have / not spot a fake.

https://www.watchrecon.com/?query=jacek

Here's the link for anyone interested:
https://tropicalwatch.com/watches/kcin

and the watch in question :

Difference in dial printing/spacing and fonts are not uncommon on genuine Rolex dials-

I compared the dials. 2008 was the transitional year for that dial type. The dial is 100% authentic and is mostly found ok 2009/2010 watches…

There are a few dial variations on that model, some aren't documented on the web so its always worth checking other watches for sale/sold that are the same year.

I truly doubt it.

Go look at all the dial variations on the Submariner models throughout the years. So many small differences. Doesn't mean it's fake.

If you are a new member and not as experienced with Rolex models and dials, I suggest you do not call out and name dealers for having fake watches as it can be quite damaging.

A different approach would be that you post a pic/link of the watch in question and ask for the views of fellow more experienced members to comment.

Well Jacek is primarily known for being a vintage dealer, most of his ads are vintage granted he does have a few modern pieces as well so it’s basically a 0% chance he lists a fake.

If he can list a vintage watch with the utmost clarity and description he surely knows his stuff. Not really the best route to use the F word with such a prolific seller.

I’d buy from him sight unseen.

Hay guys...I did not intend to cause any harm to Jacek.
Unfortunately I see now I went about my concerns on that sea-dweller in an incorrect fashion. Thank you all for politely kicking me in the butt. I needed that.
And to Jacek/Tropical Watch my sincere apologies. I can tell he is well loved here and holds a stellar reputation.

This thread should be deleted immediately. Jacek is a top guy beyond reproach in my experience. One of the most knowledgeable and honest sellers there is.
