Czapek Rattrapante

Another amazing release from Czapek today for Geneva Watch Days! What do my fellow Czapek fans think about the timepiece?

I know very little about the brand, but I think that watch is stunning.

The number alone can make it seem this way, but due to maintaining essentially the same case proportions as the original Antarctique, the perceived case height is only ~10.5mm. I initially had the same thought as you, but pictures of how the height looks on the wrist convinced me to purchase the piece.

I believe the Rattrapante is limited to 77 pieces.

I put a deposit down in the new ice blue Antarctique. I honestly think every watch they make is stunning. I see this brand doing very well!

Of the ice blue or of the new Ratttapante? There are tons of photos of the Antarctique Ice Blue.

There’s apparently a new ice blue Rattrapante is what I was referring to.

What does this mean? Is “perceived height” a defined term? I am not familiar with it.

It’s very technical :)

So perceived height is how it feels on the wrist as opposed to the actual measurement. The reason for this timepiece that the perceived height is only 2/3 of the overall height is due to the domed crystal.

If you had your eyes closed and someone out this watch on your wrist, you’d think it was the standard Antarctique.

Ha! Thanks. When you had it measured down to a tenth of a millimeter, you had me wondering.
