Datejust 41 silver dial discoloration - Normal or Defective?
Please see the attachments.
I just got my new datejust 41 and noticed that the dial has some distinct marks that sticks out pretty annoyingly to the naked eye.. The mark (?) between 12 o'clock crown and 1'o clock indicator is especially problematic - I can see the mark very clearly when I look at the watch and it's not because of the crystal. The mark looks more pronounced to the naked eye than it does in the pictures... Is this normal for an oyster dial??? If not, what should I do? Thank you so much for your wisdom... |

Looking at the pics, there are similar marks all over the dial.
Once seen they can't be unseen. If it's problematic enough for you to not get past it, I would reach out to your dealer with a view to having Rolex address it for you under warranty. It could be a defect in the finish, or it may need a simple clean of the dial |
