Dial Change
Hi All,
I am just curious, if I were to send my rolex for a dial change at RSC, I understand that they will keep your original dial, give you the new one with charges of course and give you a serciving memo saying they change the dial blar blar blar... But I am just wondering, will this affect the watch in any other ways like warranty or amything i did not foresee? |

Depends if the watch is considered vintage. For example if you replace a nipple dial on an old gmt for a service dial, it will kill the value. I did this before I new what I know now. I'm still kicking myself.

From what I understand, Rolex will only change dials with other types that were originally offered with that reference? For instance, they won't install an ice blue dial onto your SS black dial Daytona. I believe this is true?

If you’re doing the dial change directly at Rolex- why would it affect the warranty?

No RSC won’t do that - lots of people have independent watchmakers who can swap a dial. The difficulty is getting a genuine one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

That’s correct, RSC will only offer you dials that were available for your specific model Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
