What’s the longest wait you’ve waited??
I hear that some have waited 10 years or more for a white Daytona ???

I waited 3 years for my black dial ss. A year for my champagne dial OF. That’s the longest I think.

One year for a 116500 white, and it wasn't easy. Nobody is actually waiting 10 years for anything. That's the AD's way of telling you to leave them alone.

I would wait 10 years for a Tiffany stamped 5712 or a minute repeater, but not a Rolex. 10 years?! If someone waited 10 years for a white dial Daytona, they were not trying very hard. You could easily have grabbed one with a manageable wait 10 years ago.

My longest wait is 15 months for a BLNR. I expect I will be waiting longer to my blue Sky Dweller.

Have purchased 5 Rolexes from 2019-Mar”20 from my AD; ever since nothing from my SA even though I check in quarterly. My recent visit was greeted with all exhibition pieces and only diamond bezeled pieces for sale.

My name was on the list for the white dial daytona for roughly 4 years. I purchased a lot of other watches from him in that timeframe including black face daytona, BLNR, stainless sub, day date etc.
He was always honest and up front with me that the wait for the white would be a very long time. 4 years later I got the white daytona. |

I still remember a post by someone on here whose AD told him it would be a 20 year wait for a Ceramic Daytona when they first came out.

15 months for a green sub, from an AD I’ve purchased from and keep in touch with.
I also put my name down for a sub date with 2 local AD’s I haven’t spoken to since, and have never purchased anything from. 2 years ago for one and a little over a year ago for the other. I don’t expect to ever hear from either of them. |
