A Paul Thorpe video - not everyone’s cup of tea on here but worth a look. This is Part1 of 2

Just cannot see the need or the point in posting anything from Paul Thorpe or most of the other clickbait stuff on YouTube.

Love how he matched his attire with his choice of background for the green screen. Only thing worth commenting about.

He is just a tool. Useless info and full nonsense drama. Unwatchable.

If there is any point (which is debatable) it's that anything he says is the opposite of reality, so it's a kind of inverse indicator.

I don't think we need to take Paul Thorpe too seriously, just look at it as a bit of light enternaiment in a similar way to how I view Paul Pluta. No need for the hate is there?

Who's hating?

That's ramping it up unnecessarily.

Well Harry, he's been called a Tool, a Douchebag and an Baffoon, these are not really terms of endearment in my book

This guy pretends to be some kind of industry insider, where in fact he is just a retired watch dealer with vivid imagination. Absolute waste of time.

I’m always baffled by people posting this jive , useless click craving buffoon.
I can’t believe anyone could find anything useful in any of his videos.

I work in mystery shopping and also spoke to my AD about Rolex mystery shopping very recently. I can tell you that despite what you think of Mr Thorpe or how reliable his claims usually are, the mystery shopping brief he was reading was 100% legit.

No they are not and IMO two of them are justified, but hate is such an ugly destructive, consuming state of mind. There is no hate. His fair share of contempt maybe.

Since you bought up PP, like PT he's entitled to say what he wants, but to assume the position of some kind of authoritative force is just self delusion. The last PP video I watched was wilfully dishonest. It is right if it attracts scrutiny and criticism because it's so idiotic.

Agree. No hate here. Just calling it out for what it is.

How does it work? The AD asks you to come in for a sit down and chat. They want to know who you are, where you live, etc., It would be a bloody thick SA who couldn't call BS on a pretend customer. My AD selects and trains its staff better than that.

Phone enquiries and emails are different. People are better able to obfuscate more easily if calling remotely. My AD no longer sells, negotiates or discloses specific information to phone and email enquiries. They will thank the prospective customer for their interest and ask them to attend in person.

Past checking up on their politeness and professionalism, the Rolex mystery buyer will be killing a lot of spare time.
