Not a brand I'd previously paid much attention to, until I saw the release of a bunch of new versions of the Riviera 36 automatic. Especially interesting given the number of different rubber straps that can be swapped for the bracelet via quick release system.

Any thoughts on the brand/line overall?

I had one of their Hampton tank watches back in the late 90's. I really liked the style and feel of the watch and it was reliable, no issues as far as I can remember. They tend to make watches with classic styles so I wouldn't call them a fashion watch brand. I would say that they're pretty solid as far as materials, and movement (I think they have an in-house movement now or collaboration with some other movement manufacturer under the Richemont umbrella). They tend to lose some value from new, so a trusted seller might be an excellent way to go and save a few $$.

Thanks. Looking at Jomashop, and it lists the movement as a Sellita SW200. I understand that these are relatively reliable, if somewhat uninspired, calibers. They also sell the particular line I'm looking at for about 30% off, which bodes well for discounts. Don't think I'd buy used, but this isn't one I'd feel the need to go AD route if discounting wasn't as prevalent.
