TT 16713 GMT Rootbeer make way for 116500 LN SS Daytona Godzilla Ceramic Black Dial

Finally, after asking so many advices, including here in TRF, I ve decided to pull the trigger to buy BNIB Rolex Daytona 116500LN Godzilla Black Dial.

So it's USD 16.3 out of pocket + 16713 Rolex TT GMT Master II Old Rootbeer.

After getting it, just couldnt help to keep admiring the Godzilla....it really is an icon and fully deserves the hype status it has....

Congratulations. I own both the black and white dial models. Drawn more to the white dial but the black gets much more wear.

Why does the black dial get more wear? And in your opinion which dial is more visible (easier to tell the time) in low light? Thanks

Well that's a nickname I've never heard before....possibly the worst. Can we just stop? Please.

Is OP trying to create a nickname for the black Daytona? If so, I give you points for effort. I wish someone would come up with a good nickname, seeing the white dial has a Panda nick name (even tho it's not a panda)

And yet it's still hard to read - which is why I don't wear often and will probably eventually sell it.

Same, I wonder where he heard it or what the motivation was to create it. Can't say I like it, but maybe I would if I heard a good origin story.
