Best AD South Florida
I’m living in Ft Lauderdale these days and wanted to establish an AD relationship down here as I am interested in several different watches Tudor/ PM Rolex. Would hopefully like to use that as a stepping stone to get into some more desirable pieces down the line
Any recommendations where I should go? Mayors is very close to me. Weston Jewelers isn’t too far out of the way, as well as JR Dunn. Thanks |

JR Dunn is a joke, don’t waste your time unless you’re in the market for crappy jewelry and or want to buy a preowned watch at hype prices. Mayor’s and Weston will also push unwanted jewelry on you. You could get lucky at Tourneau believe it or not.

Many people say the valets along Los Olas can hook you up faster than an AD at Aventura.

I have had pretty good luck at Mayors, and I have also had excellent luck with the Rolex Boutique in the Design District in Miami, getting 3 pieces I wanted from there inside of the last two years. These days, I think it's more about your relationship with the individual SA compared to the AD as a whole, as Rolex has cracked down on a lot of the back-door antics previously happening at a store/management level. Just speaking to my own experience though.
That being said, I will be on my way to Mayors in ~12 hours from now to pick up a watch that I asked for less than a month ago - granted it's a TT DJ41, not a more desirable sport watch, but still - after hitting it off with a newer SA. Best of luck in your searches! |

All of them. That being said, I got my DJ at JR Dunn after a text one day after walking in, with only a very old spend history (two non-Rolex watches 10 years prior). I had registered my interest at Mayors Aventura, Mayors Galleria, and Rolex Design District at least three months before that and had not heard a peep from any of them.

I have had very good experiences with JR Dunn and I don’t even live in Florida anymore.

I can't see J.R Dunn keeping their Rolex AD status unless they either move or remodel the store to upgrade to current Rolex standards.
That being said, I wouldn't waste too much effort compiling a spend history there as they may get Rolex pulled. Weston is pretty solid for an independent AD. They might be able to hang on for OP to build relationship... Mayors? Maybe...but OP would have so many organic buyers ahead of him that it would a lonnnnggg time. |

I don’t think JR Dunn is getting pulled. They are a Rolex service center.
Picking up my 116610L tomorrow.…screw lost from bracelet. Watch dropped on couch thank God. They better have my watch tomorrow……haha |

Forget JRDunn, avoid at all cost. Mayors is the way to go.
