GMT Ceramic Bezel Tolerances

Hi all,

I was wondering if there’s any variation in where the colors meet (6 & 18) for the ceramic bezel GMT Master II.

I bought a used BLNR and I’m starting to be a bit paranoid because the 6 and the 18 look slightly different than in the official renders. (See pics)

Am I just being paranoid? What do you guys have on your GMTs?

Where’s the date window?

The meeting point of the color transition should match the minute markers.

It looks completely off to my amateur eyes.

I had turned the bezel when I took the pics. Added more pics (have to crop them due to the upload size restrictions).

I see some variation in scrolling through images online. I think you’re fine!

There’s a similar thread going about a members Sprite GMT bezel looking off. Not sure it’s an issue unless it really bothers you, but Rolex may not do anything about it.

I think you're ok and see nothing glaring, but the better aftermarket BLNR inserts are nearly indistinguishable from the genuine one.

Let it go, there's nothing wrong with it.

Have to agree Bas I sometime wonder why some buy Rolex watches perhaps to expect them with loupes for miniscule details. To the original poster just wear and enjoy your watch in good health for the next 40 plus years, now thats far more important.

Just posted on the same topic for my sprite, AD said I could have it changed but I'm coming to peace with it and start liking that it is slightly different ;) the change of colors is still perfectly aligned with the markers, it's just the 6 which position can vary so happy with it

Mine is a bit off the 3 o clock marker as well on the date side, and was purchased fresh from my AD just a couple weeks ago. I think yours looks similar and on that alone I wouldn’t worry. If there’s other inconsistencies in the watch that keep you up at night, you can always send it in to RSC for a service for peace of mind.
