It's happening? Le Mans Daytona from AD

I contacted my AD about a Le Mans Daytona. Wish me luck.

Does anyone know if there is any sort of special process to obtaining the Le Mans Daytona from the AD? I've heard the rainbow Daytona requires some sort of special approval from above or something.

To obtain this Le Mans Daytona you have to have a very big purchase history with your AD. This is the first step.

The required process is being a VVIP at your AD. What was your AD’s response to your request?

I’ve gotten every hot ss model I’ve asked for (white Daytona, blue sky, blro, hulk)…. When I asked for the Le Mans I borderline got laughed at

I asked my AD and they said it’s an ownership decision. The first one they received was allocated to spenders with over $1m in recent spend history (last 6 months).

I have received most everything I could ever want from my AD. I deal with owner directly and he is super honest and just a great guy. I was basically told it was IMPOSSIBLE for me.

Good luck though I hope you get it!

Yup, I imagine that the level of extortion at my AD would exceed grand larceny for one of these pieces.

Same as a few others above. Really little in the lineup I can’t have if they receive one. Sounds like my AD will be lucky to even get one. I have asked for a big occasion coming up and doubt it happens

I asked my AD to go on the list for one. But they are small jeweler, not large boutique. So I'm sure that they'll never even see one.

I simply thought about going to a local AD and asking about one. Today I got emails from every AD within 150 miles saying"don't waste your time".

The irony is after all the BS being the million dollar client and getting chosen to purchase the watch at retail, the darn things end up on the secondary. So Rolex is choosing who gets to make $$ on a flip, insanity!

Not impossible, but you certainly need a very good relationship with your AD. If you get an allocation you won’t be disappointed. This one is a definite keeper.
