Opinions Needed!

Hi all! I am looking to get some insight from other folks in regards to a watch deal I am contemplating doing.

I am contemplating trading an 116710LN with all paperwork, plus some money, for a brand new never worn 2023 126610LV. Would you personally enter into this deal? Why or why not?

Thanks in advance for any/all advice!!

I regretted selling my GMT LN. I think you would too. Can't get that one back.

Also, I think your GMT complements your LB much better than another Sub would.

I think you've got the better reference of the two. That GMT is way more desirable to me at least. Now if you were talking about trading for a 16610LV that would be a completely different story.

I'd keep the GMT over a Sub although ideally I would aim to own both. You should do as you see fit.

I own the a LV, I would not do this deal because your watch is discontinued and the LV is not and you can definitely get one at retail from an AD. You might have to wait a bit but my opinion is do not do it.

Hypothetically, if wear were acceptable / equivalent would you trade straight across?

I love my LV and I also love my BLRO, they wear totally different but I love them both.

If it meant only owning the LN or the LV I would have to go with the LN. The small amount of green in the LN would be enough for me again if only could own one.

I love my LV, but as you have a Sub (a really nice one at that) an all black watch, as well as being a GMT go with the Sub really well in your collection IMO.

Plus the GMT you have is the classiest of the newer references I believe. Love the black and green combo. I would keep the GMT

I also own a 126613LB and that’s all the Sub I need. I get the beauty of the blue dial and gold with the toughness of the Sub. 2 Subs is too much for me.

Doesn’t sound like a trade that I’d be looking to make.

I wouldn’t. The 116710LN is a keeper. Absolutely gorgeous! Best modern 6 digit GMT imo. The Starbucks is underwhelming, especially compared to its predecessor, the 16610LV.

Keep the OG GMT! She’s a stunner

I would not do that trade.
The GMT LN is great, plus I don't like the look of the green bezel on that Sub.

That’s a tough one. I have a GMT BLNR, and I think those 2 Subs together (LB & LV) would be sensational. The problem is the trade. I think you can get the LV from an AD at MSRP if you’re okay waiting a little while. Plus, the current GMT you have is a nice watch to pair with your 126613LB.

I wouldn't. The 116710LN has the tried and true 3186 movement, the jump hour hand, and the second time zone. It's a keeper.

Thank you everyone!! I believe it would be best for me to hold onto my GMT and that's exactly what I'm going to do. I appreciate all of your feedback and opinions greatly!!

Keep the GMT. LV over bluesy all day. Why not wait for the AD?
