Thoughts on a blue snowflake

edit: a black snowflake

I was watching this auction, but am not really knowledgeable enough to bid on one of these. Does it look to be all original?

The hands aren't in great shape, but to me the watch looked pretty nice.

That's not a snowflake, which would have square markers & snowflake handset.

The "underline" 7928 T SWISS T was only made in circa 1964.

Here's one or two to compare - forensically check every font and space against yours :

hmm, to my eye the 6's and the R's in Submariner and rotor are a tad different on the one I posted. Also, the printing on mine seems a hair thicker. But the differences are really small.
The year is right, 1964.

Great piece.Everything is correct for a 64. Decent to Good case, not uncommon color on hands, superb dial.

What did it go for?

If you have your heart set one, I know of one available soon.

It went for $7600 which seemed like a pretty good deal.
I'd like to find out about the one coming up soon, thanks.

And she looks better in person . I chased a few 7928s last year which always somehow slipped away from me just before I managed to pull the trigger but boy was the wait worth it
