Where to find 1861 Sapphire?
I may be in the minority but i actually prefer the bracelet on the 1861 to the 3861. Best place to look for the 1861 Sapphire Sandwich?

I'm guessing new watches are gone from dealer inventory by now, but I guess it couldn't hurt to phone around for one. Best bet is to keep an eye on offerings from trusted sellers here (Matt at watchexchangecompany, DavidSW, OC Watch Guy, etc.).

Sapphire Sandwich isn't 1861 but 1863 due to slight movement decoration.There are plenty around in almost new condition but they have gone up in value over the years. Some consider them the last true descendent of the moonwatch. To each their own.

Pretty sure you can put a bracelet from 1861 gen on a 3861 Speedy. They pop up on eBay fairly regularly. I even got one with a Tokyo Olympics adjustable clasp for my 145.022.
