5940G dial plate

Is the dial plate under the black finished 5940G-010 made from gold?

I ask if anyone knows about this because (i) the appearance of my 5940G-010 semi-lustrous black dial is similar to 5204P-010 that has a gold dial plate, and (ii) the 5940 dial says SWISS MADE at the bottom of its minute scale.

There is a old story (rumor?) that PP dials printed with SWISS MADE are made of gold, whereas of just plain SWISS indicates a dial plate of another material.
