spotted: black coated Sub (London) & thoughts on my LV
had a quick glimps of a black coated (cant remember its techincial term) Sub this afternoon. it looked pretty cool and i have to admit that i do like it. it was exposed just outside the sleeve but it was obvious to be spotted.
now to my LV - something must be wrong with me lately i havent been wearing the LV since we came back from the US and the ski trip in mid Jan. for some reason i have no desire to pick it up and putting it my wrist. for the past few weeks, i have been wearing the speedy date most times, the rado once (during Australian Open final) and the gym watch whenever im training or playing tennis. i dont know why im feeling like this, but this must change soon. enjoy wearing the LV. i will give it another thought tomorrow when im picking a watch to wear. fingers crossed has this happened to anyone? Nope, you need to go to your physician or psychiatrist-you are not feeling wellTry the balck bezel on the LV for a totally different look. If you still can not be cured, sell the LV so it can have a loving home and buy some Omegas.

Heck that's the fun of having more than one watch. Wear what feels right at the time. The LV isn't eating anything.

I do appreciate omega timepieces also. Imo they ate fine timepieces. My wife is an omega girl and that was her influence. I have a couple of omegas in mind to add to my collection in the future as well as more rolexes. In fact I have spent the last few day looking and trying on some DJs. I'd like to get one in the coming months. As Mike have commented- that's the beauty of having a multi-brand/multi-collection. I'm sure I will find love again in the LV. |

The LV situation is a common one for those with multiple watches. In my opinion once you start to back off a watch it can take forever to reconnect again, if ever. There is no cure unfortunately except to look in the window of an AD and catching sight of it and remembering just how pretty she was when you first got her !!
Not my thang !!!!

A Sub and a Speedmaster are two very iconic watches. With these you have land, sea and sky covered.

(damn.... It was kinda "difficult" to find an old thread by looking through pages on an iPod. Thought I should find it anyway instead of creating a new thread and wasting valuable server space....)
Anyway - the wife and I had a birthday party to attend last night. Just a few close friends and they are not really big on luxury stuff, so I was happy to give my new G-Shock some more wrist time. Then comes to question - why don't you wear your rolex tonight? It has been awhile since you last wore it. So she handed me the LV and took the G-Shock off me. For some reason I found myself checking out the LV many times last night and I think I was enjoying wearing it again. One thing I have noticed is the oyster bracelet. It wasn't as comfortable and the other watches I have been wearing lately. But I did enjoy the rolex wearing feeling last night. Guess I have "finally" reunited with the LV after more than 1 month apart. Will def give it some more wrist time this week. |
