I normally brings 2 when I travel
one steel and one dress. Depending on weather if it rains I wear steel if weather is good wear leather straps. Anything more than 2 is excessive and more for collections and investments. Like collecting antiques.
If you have the money, hey you can't go wrong buying Rolex as much as you please, But other brands is questionable if you can get money back.

+1 for my wife who hinted that the new AP millenary frosted gold Philosophique blue is beautiful.

It's nice. I like it too. Maybe...

Show her the FP Journe Chronometre Bleu. You would have to buy on the secondary market but it is beautiful and a sleeper (except for WIS).

Patek ; Blancpain; Rolex ; Omega ; Jacob Co; AP ; Vacheron JLC ; Lange and others will continue making more steel sport watches with new features and appealing designs to satisfy demands and compete in shrinking demand and maybe through innovative marketing like the Daytona or Nautilus it can create new demand one year after another ;
The successful marketing that creates hype in steel sport watch will be copied by other brand such as Lange and AP in their sport line up.
we will see more and more Nautilus and Daytona watches in near future with limited supply and crazy prices.
