[QUOTE=dman]
For the record MHO's are: Yes there are more "dumb" questions on a Rolex board then anywhere else. But there are also more people waiting to take a persons head off for asking them. [QUOTE] Daren, I could not agree more, and in fact find the posts hammering these new people to be more frustrating than the odd questions themselves. As has been pointed out, we all had to start somewhere and berating/making fun of new people for the typical dumb questions does not encourage them to stick around and learn, IMHO. I know some people are very bothered by these questions - my advice - don't read the posts! |

When the CEO of Rolex was asked how watch sales were he responded, "We do not sell watches, we sell luxury items."
However, I disagree. A watch is a watch. Unless he has the power to change definitions. Wristwatch: "a watch worn on a strap or band around the wrist." The definition does not mention price or quality. =) maverick Last edited by maverick; 25 August 2005 at 09:45 AM.. |
