Bay Area SF ADs for Submariner?

The extended family is looking to pitch in for a Submariner for my brother in laws 50th birthday gift. Particular model of Sub is not important to him; just that it is stainless. Preference right now would be to purchase pre-owned from an AD in my local area. Never dealt with the grey market, but that might also be an option. Any suggestions appreciated.

If you go gray, you can get close to 1000 over msrp

Davidson and Licht is legit. Good service and up front to me about the wait. Wasn’t too long at all.

I say start with the one nearest to you and then branch out farther. A Submariner is not relatively difficult to obtain but still requires some patience.

The Bay area Ads dont have nothing. But you can try Bhindi in Newark they might get you one pretty quick. I was looking for a watch to gift and all the ADs were giving me a bunch of bundle BS even for a Sub.

If you can’t find at any of the local AD’s, contact Jacek at HQ Milton. He’s local to you. Very reputable. Good luck with your search.

If you are operating under a deadline - the birthday - then go grey. Two california greys I have dealt with, and they are completely trustworthy, are OCrolexguy (Patrick) and justrolexes (Tony). justrolexes has a website under SDrolexes (I believe that is it).

There my be a grey in the Bay area for a face to face, maybe someone can inform you of that. Otherwise use the two I recommended.

The AD gets many phone calls every day asking for a sub. Visit often and you can probably get one.

sorry I should've specified that I went to Davidson & Licht in the south bay. My sub never made it to the case. The walnut creek store had a gold sub & rose gold gmt in the case last week.

Is this for the Sub, or Sub ND?

Based on listings and sales here I assume?

Depends on your timeframe. If you have months to wait you might get one from an AD. Up in SFO I would go HQmilton. They usually have newish subs with box and papers for about the same price as new from AD.
