Favorite >40MM Rolex?

In a world of 40MM watches dominating the spotlight, the smaller case sizes get far less attention.

I'm really curious to hear what your favorite >40MM model is?

Here's some information about my pick! The Rolex Date 15233.
Manufactured by Rolex. This Rolex is a model 15223. This Rolex Date 15223 was produced in the year 1998. On a condition scale ranging from fair to unworn, this specific Rolex Date 15223 is in near mint condition. The Dial is sunburst champagne with yellow gold baton hour markers and black print. The Rolex Date 15223 with stainless steel case is 34mm in diameter. This Date is secured with a Rolex Oyster bracelet and folding clasp which is in stainless steel. This Date is powered by an automatic Rolex Caliber 3135.

Classic 36mm Explorers & DD.. I also like the clean lines of a ref 5500 AirKing at 34mm.

It will be the Rolex Sea-Dweller, the 50th anniversary SD43. Reference number is 126600.

Sorry to nitpick, but it should be <40mm, not >40mm. The thread title and subsequent posts confused me for a bit.

And I will say the classic Datejust 36.

He asked about our favourites larger than 40 mm, but then started talking about smaller watches. I'm a bit confused as well.

Yes

< is less than
> greater than

For me it's the 116520 that is in reality a 38.5mm watch

Well if it’s less than 40, even though I don’t have any, the one I would potentially get is the DD 36.

Greater than 40, SD43. When I get my next one, which is also larger than 40, I’ll update my answer. If necessary.

Rolex DJ36 on jubilee and with fluted bezel.

Or 14060M, it's 39,5mm so still fits.

Explorer II and Sky-Dweller. Have flirted with others but 42mm is my best size. Date and dual-time are my most useful complications
