Are these Jubilee bracelets genuine??
Morning All,
Can anyone confirm the authenticity of these jubilee bracelets? They look heavily polished and the clasp codes look suspect especially 78360 which i believe should be on an oyster bracelet? Thanks in advance. Last edited by Ollie9swy; 18 January 2020 at 08:17 PM.. Reason: add more photos |

They look like original parts to me.
The 78360 blade is for a solid oyster band, but looks like someone mixed and match parts to complete the band. |

First buckle has to be fake, at least the part with the crown on it...it looks terrible...

Made up bracelets. The 62523 clasp is fake. Bracelet and endlinks are genuine.
As mentioned the 78360 clasp is genuine service clasp but from an oyster bracelet. Bracelet and endlinks are genuine. Both are heavily stretched. |

Oyster and jubilee clasp blades are interchangeable. I've seen quite a few vintage jubilee 6251 bands with oyster blades fitted.
I chalk it up to watchmakers of yesteryear fitting what they had on hand. Probably independents using the parts they had in stock to get a customer's watch back on his wrist. |

Looks like a bag of parts stuck together.
The 62523 clasp, and likely the halves, are fake. The end links all seem fine. Putting an Oyster clasp on a Jubilee just seems wrong, but does bring into question the authenticity of those halves.
