Friendly Reminder to All SS Skydweller Owners

For the first time in the history of the SS and Two Tone Skydwellers, owners all across the world will have the privilege to change the date in a week's time.

What we do then will make history. I want you all to enjoy your cake, so..... enjoy.

Ah, the “annual” ritual.

Change the bezel from Neutral position (clockwise until unable to turn further) to Date position by turning the bezel 1 notch CCW then pull out the crown. Change the date and screw the crown back and return the bezel to Neutral. Done.

Wait, it’s Feb 22... not Feb 28 yet.

That's why perpetual calendars are so much more practical.

That's why no date watches are even more practical. Lolz. But I would absolutely love to own a SkyDweller. Problem is I rotate through watches and don't use a winder so the more complications the worse off I am so I'll stick with my Plain Jane GMT and SubC for now.

Quick reminder to my fellow SkyDweller owners. It's that time of year again.

I would take a SS skydweller off someones hands at MSRP if they are too inconvenienced by the date change.

But the big question remains - will I change the date to 29 or 31
(before the midnight)

I love the practicality of a no date watch. Great thing about the SS Daytona is it's a no date with 72 hour power reserve. Certainly is a favorite mine and need to add a no date Sub next

Judging by the title, can I, as a Steel and Gold SkyDweller owner, ignore this advice?

You kidding right? It’s as easy as changing the date in a sub after you turn the bezel to the first position. The SkyDweller is one of the easiest annual calendar watch out there to set any function of the watch. The command bezel is an amazing shortcut tool.

I was completely off my rocker . I can’t speak for other annual calendar time pieces but as for the SkyDweller, I would imagine that it is one of the easier watches to change when it hits the 1st of March. Sincere apologies to all. I have been taking some heavy pain medication due to a somewhat severe shoulder surgery. I damaged my labrum, rotator cuff, and bicep while fighting the Malibu fires last November and the medication affects my thought process. I’m very embarrassed.

Can I say that I like that this thread exists? It shows up once a year as a reminder of how fortunate we are to have this unique watch.

I am looking forward to making my first annual calendar reset tomorrow.

I’ve never changed the date in a sub. Confined space date change.
