Hi, I am an athletic trainer , who wants to get into collecting watches, in the past I’ve collected cars from corvette, Porsche , Lamborghini, to my current Viper. I’ve gone into a few AD’s looking for a nice Rolex , and they are worse than some Porsche dealers, snooty and deceptive, looks like I’m going to go grey market, let’s face it, the only reason why there is a grey market is due to shady AD’s selling to they grey market.

Good luck. Its been real tight for a couple years now on SS. Supply and demand rules the market. You usually have to put a little time in, look for different ADs and revisit without expectations and just conversation. A lot of good and trustworthy greys out there as well. I just refuse to pay over msrp on a new one, however depending on the model some are good deals compared to their msrp. I'm sure you know what the real hot ones are. Check out the classifieds here and on Chrono/24. Happy Hunting!!...
