Rubber B on SD43 question
Anyone else have issue with spring bars not seating properly in the
SD43 with Rubber B strap? I can’t seem to get them to click in. Thanks in advance!! Joe |

Don’t have a SD43 (yet, lol) but it’s on my radar. I have an older 16610 sub that I have a couple of Rubber B straps for and aligning the spring bars can definitely be a challenge.
What works for me is grabbing the case firmly with one hand while pushing the strap towards the case with the other hand. With a spring bar, it’ll usually clicks into place and you can confirm that it’s secure visually by looking at the holes on the outside of the lug. With the newer models, without drilled lugs, you’ll need to rely on a positive click to know that the bar is secure. Over time and with use the Rubber B straps are easier to mount. Hope this helped.
