The mechanical automatic self-winding Audemars Piguet caliber 2224/2825 is rhodium-plated, with engine-turned "Grande Tapisserie" and "Cotes de Geneve" decorative patterns. It's constructed with a shock absorber mechanism, 38 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance. It includes a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a 21K gold rotor segment.
