DayDate 36mm 118139 with the deployant strap
Has anyone ever had one of these models and later put one of the newer bracelets with the hidden clasps on it?
Would it physically work or did Rolex change things so that this couldn't be done? |

Physically impossible I'm afraid. I've never understood why Rolex design
their strap models this way, it's the same with the Daytonas. |

Can you go the other way? Get one with the bracelet and put a leather strap on it? And I do know what people say about that. |

I have a 118138 and unfortunately the way Rolex designed this watch it won’t work on another bracelet other than a strap. You can however put a strap on a Day Date that originally had a presidential bracelet but there will be a slight gap between the strap and the head. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
