Hi. Recently purchased a 2006 14060M. Case/crystal/bezel in great condition, but I have some concerns about the crown.

It appears as though the case tube is at an angle, causing the crown to screw in at a slight angle (downwards towards the wrist). Pretty sure this would never have passed Rolex QA back in '06. Anyone have experience with this sort of thing (eg. would this be from impact of some sort, or non-rolex servicing?)

I tell myself that it doesn't matter, but I can't help but notice it...all the time.

Can not see exactly the condition you are trying to demonstrate. Unscrew the crown and pull it out all the way and post a photo. Although it could be the angle of your photograph, but there may be some asymmetry of the crown guards which gives the impression the tube is at an angle. Also post your question in vintage, more experience with prior models. My.02.
