Six digit Sub service

Hi all

Am looking for info on servicing a six digit Submariner.

1. How much does it cost and would there be a difference in servicing the date vs no date?
2. How often should it be done with regular use?
3. Is there a cheaper albeit just as competent way of servicing? Similar to taking a Mercedes to a German auto shop vs the dealership.

Any and all tips would be greatly appreciated!
