14060m polished or not?

Yes, the "crown guard should be rounded and in the middle of the crown" is absolutely wrong.

The watch is actually quite nice for a 1994 in my opinion. I would buy it.

I don't have the 14060m before so i dont know, but I look at other of my rolex watch, the crown guard is not in the middle.

All comes down to how picky you are. For some guys that type of polish is not a big deal, for others it's heresy.

I'd say that watch has been moderately polished, but is not a disaster. Depends on what you're looking for and the price. If you're examining macro photos of the case this closely, I'd say the OP is the kind of buyer who should pass and look for a better case.

For comparison, here is my (former) 14060 that definitely was unpolished. Look at the ridge-line at the crown guards. Those often vanish with polishing. And there were definitely pronounced chamfers, as you can see. Not like on vintage Subs, but they were there for sure.

These unpolished examples are hard to find nowadays even though they're not that old (relatively), and you'll pay more, of course.

Respectfully, what more input do you need? All of the input received should be sufficient. Pass on this example if you’re not 100% comfortable- these pieces are not at all rare aside from four-liner random serials and earlier non-M reference in acceptable shape.
