Size Chart for Daytona 116519LN Oysterflex Straps

Do you know where I could find an official chart size for the Daytona 116519LN Oysterflex straps?

Yes, important to look at the Daytona table rather than the YM one. The YM one is seen in more places online simply because it was the first one released. The straps are the same but are being fitted onto a case and clasp that are different, which charges the boundaries of what sizes work for what wrist.

My wrist is a bit more than 6.75 but less than 7 inch (a few mm over 170), and the default E& F combination work great - useful, as I bought pre owned rather than new from a dealer.

The photo above is already all the models (i.e. only Yachtmaster and Daytona) which can be bought from Rolex with an oysterflex bracelet.

Rolex are not going to produce a size chart showing what combination of Oysterflex links would be best for someone buying a Sub or a Datejust, because those watches aren't offered with Oysterflex.

Please comment! The watch case measures 42.5 mm from the 6:00-pin to 12:00-pin. The watch buckle measures 30.5 between the default pins. Now, if your writs measures 6.75 inches (that's, 172 mm), the E and F straps appears too big!!! If I am not mistaken, the E strap is 55 mm and the F strap is 60 mm.

Putting together the info above: case 42.5 mm + buckle 30.5 + E strap 55 mm + F strap 60 mm = 188 mm

So, if your wrist is 172 mm, how you manage to wear your watch with a total circumference of 188 mm, or 16 mm larger? (16 mm is about 5/8 of an inch)

Please comment. If the Daytona watch case measures 42.5 mm from pin to pin and the buckle measures 30.5 mm between the default pins, the E - F straps can be too large. The E strap measures 55 mm and the F strap 60 mm, for a total of 125 mm.

Taking into account the info above, case 42.5 mm + buckle 30.5 mm + E strap 55 mm + F strap 60 mm = total circumference 188 mm. You said that your wrist is 6.75 inches; that's, 172 mm. Why do you need 16 mm extra (188 mm - 172 mm?

Thanks for this! I recently bought a Daytona (ref. 116519LN), and had the impression that the dial was sitting a bit too far on the upper side of the wrist. I wear it on my right arm, and I was afraid that for whatever reason the straps were inverted. Now I know they aren't!

If you own a original reference watch thats bought with a oysterflex strap then Rolex will replace one if needed. If you just want to buy a oysterflex strap and have not got a watch that originally came with a oysterflex strap, then Rolex would not sell you one.

Well, it's perhaps even more confusing because I prefer to have the adjustable watch clasp set to the wider setting (so probably nearer to 4cm than the 3cm that you mention, depending where you measure from) ...

... and I think the E and F straps are 55 and 65 mm rather than 55 and 60. So if I add up all your figures I would get to over 190. However, my wrist (which I haven't measured to the exact nearest mm, because I have no real need to) isn't as big as that.

The bracelet isn't zero thickness, so the outside of it will take a longer distance around the wrist than the inside of it (and the 'fins' underneath help to push it wider too when they give your wrist more space to breath under the rubber).

All I can say is, my wrist is in the 170-180mm size range, and the E&F straps (which the Daytona chart above says should fit the 170-180mm size range) do fit.
