If you have a late 70 GMT...

Hi guys, I'm looking for a new watch, a "late 70" GMT..Therefore I'm asking for your help.
I'd like you to upload some pictures of your unpolished / slightly polished GMTs. Especially the lugs, chamfers and profile of the case...if you please could spend some minutes for me to do that, I'd be very glas

Many thanks mates

You can search this forum for GMTs all day long. 1675s, which ran the duration of the 70s, all used the same case so looking at a late 70s case profile v. any other is not going to be very illuminating. Post candidates here but do some homework first and you'll learn what a nice full case looks like.

You want a correct serial range and MK dial.

For late 70s you want a MK 4-6 https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=316726
Serial should be say 4.5 -6m ish/sorta.

Here’s a decent one I had. Around 1978.

There are literally thousands of photos online already that will help in your research for a 1675.

You can also check the archived sections on the websites of some well-known dealers, such as HQ Milton and Andrew Shear.

Good luck!

There are thousands, that's the problem, many are refinished, many are poorly polished, etc....when you look at the curves of the case, you can unfortunately find eveything...that's why I'm asking here for safe and well preserved examples...

If I were in the market for a 70's GMT, I would consult Springer on this forum..In my opinion the man knows everything about the mark and occasionally has fine examples for sale.
