I do like the YM Oysterflex but need to make room. I would need funds from the sale to purchase the new watch as well. Especially if I go the Platinum route.

Do you need the GMT function? If not I do go for the DD because the dat function is uber cool and it is Rolex flagship model and a timeless classic especially with PT950.
I am not a large person weight wise. 5’ 7” With about 6.5” wrist. Adjusting from SS to gold wasn’t an issue. Don’t really travel much so the DD is definitely more useful to me.

Sounds like your heart is set on the DD , OP. I would go for it 100% Love the RG CHNR but Platinum DD with glacier dial is on an entirely different level!

Day Date every day.
Tried the Pt version, just amazing. I didn’t notice real weight difference on my wrist.
But as you said earlier, if you have already GMTs in precious metal, you’ll have to go Pt DD now. Any configuration you choose of course...but love the simple smooth bezel with Arabic Numbers.
Most important: hope you’ll enjoyed it !
Waiting for pics now...

The lack of bracelet adjustability is the only thing that keeps me from owning a DD.
