1982-1983 Datejust Arabic Dial Question

Newbie to the message board here and first post. Looked through the board for this topic but couldn’t find a previous thread. Does anyone know much about the full Arabic numeral dial on a Datejust 1982-83? I’ve looked everywhere for info or pics and only found a few posts. Wondering if it was an aftermarket type of thing or something else. Most of the Datejust faces I see omit the “12” and have just the crown at the 12 spot. This has both.

Thanks for the link. I’ve seen it in blue and in cream. I was a little concerned because I hadn’t seen it very often and wondered if it was an option, something custom or a later add on.

just look up "boiler gauge dial" and you will see plenty of options. fonts are not the same on fake ones. can't say I recall seeing this color either, but all the other markings are identical to legitimate dials.

I’ve never heard of the “Boiler gauge dial” but I did a search and turned up several! Thanks. Checked the serial number and it is from 1982.

Great looking boiler gauge! I love how they drop down the minute track to the center.
