Perhaps have your dad go in and collect the 126719 BLRO. At that time, he should ask if they can get him a 126710 BLRO for you his son. I think it should come from him who has purchased three watches this month. Just my opinion. Let us know how it all works out!

A very reasonable request especially as they’ve just banked the money on the WG reference

I think it is a little cheeky. Not unforgivably cheeky, just a little bit.

Not because you're thinking of asking the AD to bundle - that aspect I think is fair game.

But you are talking about cashing in someone else's goodwill. I certainly wouldn't do it without the full and informed consent of my father. (What if he get's the watch bug and want's something for himself down the line)

Go in with Dad together and you can both ask. I think it’s a nice family bundle.

Wow. Without picking anyone out, there are a few here that must have to pull their pants back up when leaving an AD.

OP, tell them to sort your request out.

People generally don't get very far 'telling' a business what to do when what you are actually asking for is a unicorn.

I do enjoy when it happens though, means I can drop my tissue paper thin veneer of patience and show them the door.

At the time he had mentioned that he would really like another precious piece, but not before Christmas.

The AD just called and said that they've got a 126719BLRO (white gold Pepsi, blue dial). Even though it's come a bit early, he's said that he would take it.

The question is- am I being cheeky asking for them to bundle in an SS Pepsi (for me) to make the deal happen? I feel like spending near enough £70,000 in under a month should open that door, but as its not for my dad I'm not sure whether or not I'm pushing too hard?
God no ask them they should value the business especially at this time you should push for that and other watches

Ha ha, not interested in any of these ‘hot’ pieces so not had to brown-nose.

Am I being cheeky?

Ask politely, don’t demand.... that’s what I’d do. And I’m sure that’s what you’d do anyway

Congratulations on the WG Blue dial GMT. My AD has only seen one since it was announced. As others have said, couldn't hurt to ask about a SS Pepsi

Just getting the Pepsi Max 126719BLRO is quite difficult here. I'm on a 3 years waiting list to get that PM watch...diden't even know it was a hot model in WG. But then again, your father has spent more in the past month than I am properly gonna do in the next decade. I believe they will get you the BLRO - no need to make demands.

And congrats on the WG GMT BLRO!! Great watch by all standards

God bless you brits! Had a flat in Fulham in 1971 for a bit. I still say Oy Mate as a greeting 50 years on!!!

You responded to my post, and I left it at that.

But now you’re questioning my response to someone else?

Yes. I get what I want, sometimes. But then, we all have varying levels of conviction.

I'd ask politely. Love the blue dial WG too.

If they've been able to get all those other watches for you, why wouldn't they be able to get you a BLRO as well?
