I am offering my 1997 Rolex Explorer l Ref. 14270 that comes with its original box and papers.


Case: Excellent condition case with balanced lugs that shows light wear from use. The domed bezel is in good condition and shows average wear from use.

Dial: Good condition T SWISS - T < 25 black tritium dial. Over time the black glossy dial has aged to a matte like appearance that can be seen in bright light. The tritium in the dial and hands has aged to a nice light beige color. There is a small nick in the crystal between the 4 and 5 hour markers.

Bracelet: The 12.5 link oyster bracelet is in excellent condition with minimal stretch. The clasp is stamped with a Z code dating it to 1997.

Accessories: Inner box, booklets, and original signed warranty paper.

Notes: A classic watch with a twist. While it is unknown exactly why this dial aged the way it did aside from exposure to the elements, I have had the watch opened up and the movement is clean. Happy to share pics with any prospective buyers.
